Dana Dinh
Dana (she/her) joins us as our new Outreach & Events Coordinator! She will be working with our Director of Performance & Partnerships, RaChelle Schmidt, to connect with our partners and to carry out PHAME’s new student recruitment efforts. Additionally, Dana will be supporting PHAME events, including student dances, Get PHAMEous, and more. Dana brings a strong background in DEI work and communications management to her work at PHAME. Fun fact: she has trained as an amateur competitive ballroom dancer and also practices aerial arts! Learn more about Dana here.
Nicholas O. Christopher
Nicholas (he/they) joins us as our new online Kick It Up dance teacher. Nicholas is an accomplished dancer with over ten years of teaching experience. His movement work focuses on Street Styles with an emphasis on Hip Hop, Popping, and various choreographic and freestyle approaches. Learn more about Nicholas here.
Jenny “Jebby” Haberski
Jebby (she/they) joined us as a Campus Coordinator in the fall. She has had a diverse career that has taken her from kitchens to online banks, and she loves to help everyone feel welcome and create a safe environment for creativity to thrive. Learn more about Jebby here.
Shawn Lee
Shawn (he/him) is teaching Documentary Filmmaking with us this winter. In addition to being an award-winning director and filmmaker with a vast array of exciting projects on his resume, Shawn is also the Producing Director at Artists Repertory Theatre. Learn more about Shawn here.
Lucas Salazar
Lucas (he/him) joined the PHAME team in Fall Term and is teaching Acting. His extensive theatre background has taken him all over the place: traveling with physical theatre companies, clowning and stilt-walking with circuses in Los Angeles, performing on stage and screen across the world and creating content for radio, television and the classroom. Mark Steering
Mark (he/him) joined the PHAME team in Fall Term and is teaching both sections of Musical Theatre. He is a singer and actor with an extensive history of teaching and directing plays in Oregon schools and arts programs. Learn more about Mark here.
John Carter
John (he/him) joins us as our newest Campus Coordinator, and will also be filling in as a substitute Teaching Artist. John has wide-ranging arts expertise; he is a musician, piano teacher, playwright/director, and actor, and he also runs an art’s collective in SE Portland. Learn more about John here.
