Billy (they/them) is an artist and activist originally from the east coast. After studying Human Services at Clark University, and traveling in North and South America, they wound up in Portland. Billy practices meditation, qigong, and yoga daily and believes in the importance of mindfulness practices for all artists. They have been a facilitator of art therapy and meditation for people in recovery from substance abuse, mental illness, and trauma. Billy enjoys drawing comics to communicate about both mundane and difficult subjects, with the intention to inspire laughter.
