Anya (she/her) joined the PHAME team in 2016 and currently oversees the organization’s operations, communications, and enrollment systems. Anya is a self-professed data nerd with a deep love for the arts, and she brings to PHAME a fierce belief in the power of arts education to transform lives. Anya holds a Bachelor’s in Studio Art from Brown University and a Master’s in Visual Studies from Pacific Northwest College of Art. In addition to her work with PHAME, Anya is a practicing artist specializing in painting, and she is represented by a super cool local gallery called Nationale.

Favorite PHAME moment: The first time I watched Wide Rivers Can’t Be Crossed (As Long As You Think You Can’t Float)—an original video created by PHAME students in 2021. The video—and poem—blew me away.
