Denise Busch

Denise is a certified DanceAbility teacher. DanceAbility is a method of teaching dance to all people, with and without dance experience, with and without disabilities. She has taught mixed ability improvisational dance, country line dance, Essentrics and dance fitness to a variety of people including people with cognitive and physical disabilities, including dementia. Denise facilitates improvisational dance for organizations for team building and building community.

She has studied different styles of dance including flamenco, clogging, hip hop, line dance, and jazz dance. She has performed in various venues and organizes performances for mixed ability dance ensembles.

Denise has been a nurse and nurse practitioner for over 50 years. She believes that there is a strong connection between mind and body and dancing has many personal benefits and dancing together builds community.
