Alex (they/them/she/her) has a B.A. in classical percussion from Biola University. Along with their band, The Cabin Project, they have performed and recorded in various other bands, musical projects and theatre companies throughout Portland. Music theatre is a passion for them and in 2018 Alexandra received the Portland Area Music Theatre Award for Outstanding Pit Musician. Some favorite shows they have performed have been West Side Story, Peter and the Starcatcher, Rent, and Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Previously, Alex has taught drums privately and worked at Girls Build, a non-profit organization that strives to inspire curiosity and confidence in girls through the world of building. Alex has worked with the I/DD community for many years, and is thankful for the experience of fusing their love for music and performance with accessibility and representation in the arts.
